Focus on Fraud

BT Claims Ltd takes a very serious approach to motor claims fraud. Focussed claims handling embracing awareness of a growing number of fraud indicators, allied with continuous claims handler training enable us to identify suspicious claims early in the process.

We have access to the Motor Insurance Anti Fraud and Theft Register, work closely with the Insurance Fraud Bureau and obtain intelligence from and share intelligence with a variety of other agencies. We constantly review and refine our fraud management processes and reporting to ensure that we are abreast of current trends and are able to react accordingly.

Third Party Capture Programme

Early capture of the third party in client at fault claims can result in a substantial saving on the overall claim cost to the client. With this in mind we have developed a service to supplement our motor claims capability that is aimed at capturing the third party at the earliest possible point and then managing all aspects of the claim against the client.
